Receiving twice of the same scam is really too much. I've received another CIMB 'Security' Warning. This time to click to another site. But with all the same massage. The email was once again sent to my company public email account.
This time the email goes like this...
Dear Valued Customer,
We apologies for the recent security flaw on our Online Banking Servers. Due to the recent attacks and unauthorized access into our servers and CIMB Online Banking, we have introduced a new security server to protect all our customers. All CIMB Bank customers are required to secure and authenticate their records on this server.
Please note that this procedure is mandatory to all CIMB Account Holders.Follow below reference to proceed.

Management,
CIMB Bank Berhad
Do they never get tired?
Yesterday it was online banking security update, today it was due to security attack. I wonder what excuse they will come up next. The bank being rob? the servers were destroyed in fire and all information was lost? The servers were hack, somebody kidnap the head programmer and extorted information from him,..whatever the reason is, don't be too trusting. Contact your bank if you do have question regarding this mythical security update.
Again...DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. Never ever reveal your identity, your TAC number and password or security answer to anyone. It's your money in there not some candy in a jar.
Programming today is a race between software engineers stirring to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.- Somebody who is not an idiot
