Much ado about nothing

Those who think they have not time for bodily exercise will sooner or later have to find time for illness. ~Edward Stanley

Since there seems to be so much fuss over Yoga, I would like to make a suggestion for those practicing them to change it to Pilates instead. You relax on a mat, move slowly, curve like a ball, roll around, strech to the limits. It's pretty much like Yoga minus the chanting. (It was created based on Yoga movement, but the guy ditch all the mantra since he didn't need it.)Plus some exercise movement, you can tone your body too. It's an exercise and not some mantra chanting group. Your aim is for a healthier body.

Pilates principle is simple, it teach you on the awareness of breath and the alignment of the spine. Did you know German soldiers who were injured were told to do Pilates exercise to gain their strength and movement.

So to save you here and in the afterlife, if you really want to stretch on a mat and exercise, pick up Pilates.
You want chanting and relaxation go pray, recite zikir, and wirid.
Movement is a medicine for creating change in a person's physical, emotional, and mental states. ~Carol Welch
