Spot the Difference...Nautica Vs Rush

The value of an idea has nothing whatever to do with the sincerity of the man who expresses it – Oscar Wilde
Perodua has officially launch the successor of Perodua Kembara, Perodua Nautica 4WD but unlike Kembara which was made ..sort of..in Malaysia and targeted a niche market of cheaper, smaller 4 wheel drive, Nautica in the other hand is made in Japan with no aspiration of what so ever to conquer any niche market. The price, RM89,900 on the road with insurance.

The car is actually a Perodua badge version of Toyota Rush.

The answer to the above question, well the only differences between the two types of SUV are; front bumper, grille and rear bumper which was made in Malaysia, the rest of Nautica is ship from Japan just like Rush and of course the price, Toyota Rush price range is between RM85,888 to RM94,888 on the road including tax.

Check out Paul’s Tan review on Perodua Nautica and Toyota Rush for more information.

Just a thought though...do we still call Nautica a national car? I mean the only nationally made is the bumper...so that will only qualified Nautica as an nationally imported car with local made bumper or national bumper car err..on a car...hmmm

Design is in everything we make, but it’s also between those things. It's a mix of craft, science, storytelling, propaganda, and philosophy.-Erik Adigard
