What's the Fuss...(2)

I worship not that which ye worship - Surah Al-Kafirun, verse 2.

Another fuss I don't really understand is the fiasco regarding the word 'ALLAH'. What is wrong is a bunch of priest using the word since that is the direct translation for the word 'GOD' in Arabic. Priest in Arab country use the word 'ALLAH'. When I was in Jordan the Arab Christian use 'Bismillah' as the meaning is 'In the name of God'. The kids at school even wrote it on top of their exam papers...They use 'Assalamualaikum','MasyaAllah' and 'InsyaAllah' too...as it's Arabic and they do believe in God. No body petition any court since it's just the language.

You need to know that the word 'Allah' existed before Islam was even present. So stop making a fool of yourself...It only makes us Muslim look like shallow minded idiots who can't even read the dictionary.

We Muslim sometimes refers Allah swt as God or Lord in the English translation of Al-Quran. I don't see the Christian petitioning the court for the court to be thrown out. It's English. In our Rukun Negara...we have the word 'Kepercayaan kepada Tuhan', yet nobody is confuse, 'Tuhan' can be refer as anybody God and personal believe. It's a word!. Just like Dio in Italy, Dios in Spanish, Dieu in French, Gott in German.

Is our faith so fragile that we get confuse between what we believe and what other people believe just because they use the same word?. Are we that stupid and that naive? Are we a bunch of gullible fools that just the mention of the word 'Allah' by a priest can send our faith tumbling down the hill.

You know during our Prophet Muhammad s.a.w times...he sit down and discuss religion with the Jews and Christians...what word do you think they use for God? Just stop trying to save the little things...we have the world crushing downs on Muslims, we have youngsters that don't even know how read the Quran despite being in school for years, can't even recite the Al-Fatihah and don't know how to pray. These are the things worth saving...your faith, you believe... not a word!

P/S: The ironic the whole thing is...some of us goes into panic mode just for a word, but nobody said anything when Celcom start to the to dress 'Sports Toto' with Toyota Camry when even at a glance you will know its 'haram'. It's gambling with fancy words. Even 'Sports Toto' cost lest than the Celcom 100 cars 100 days campaign. Yet only when Mufti Perlis said it's wrong then everyone start jumping in. Where are they when Celcom starts it's promotion?

Busy saving a word...

O ye who believe! intoxicants and gambling, (dedication of) stones, and (divination by) arrows, are an abomination of Satan's handiwork: eschew such (abomination), that ye may prosper.-Surah Al-Maidah, verse 90.
