The funny part was this email was sent through one of the email account on my company website. ( My company doesn't even have an account under CIMB). So you can safely conclude that whoever the scam idiots is, he is targeting all the emails addresses that were easily obtain through public channel

DO NOT ENTER ANY INFORMATION THROUGH THE WEBSITE GIVEN THERE. ITS A SCAM!. Don't reveal your user ID, password and TAC number. I guess the scumbags created many website because the email link given was different from the one on CIMB Click website. So beware, don't enter any banking link via your email.

Banks like CIMB or Maybank NEVER email their customer for such information. BE WARN don't become a victim. Visit their main website for any transaction activity.

If you happens to mistakenly gave the information, go the bank website (THE REAL ONE) and change your password or call the CIMB call center immediately at 1 300 880 900.

Just for fun though...I entered the website an entered some bogus ID, password and TAC, the scumbags have the audacity to give this order

Thank You

So after they steal your ID they don't want you to know that they are stealing your money. How clever...If you are smart you will know the bank will never issue a command like this. If you look closely at the website you would see the sentence 'All rights reserved. Copyright © 2006 CIMB Bank' . Even scumbags are idiots and lazy to update the website, the real CIMB would display the right year with all those website security and banking logo.

The bold part sound so like those massage you hate receiving from your friends in Friendster telling you of account suspension if didn't forward the massage. (I never did and my account never got suspended).

Again...DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!
