When Bigfoot and Big Monkey sits for Parliament

When I was a little kid there was this programme 'Mini Parliament' which was aired during Merdeka day. The programme gave selected primary school student a chance of being a Parliament member for a day. They wore the suits, sit in a mock-up Parliament setting and debates on issues. I like watching the show no matter how heat up a debate become they was no throwing tantrums, calling names or such. They acted matured despited the fact that they were a bunch of primary pupils. It inspired kids to be Parliaments members.

Sadly enough the same inpiration was tainted by a bunch of 'ape species' real Parliament members representing the voice of Malaysia today. They act like a bunch of performance monkey. Charles Darwin said that we evolved from ape but I think this Parliament members is evolving the other way around...they are evolving from human to become ape instead.

Maybe RTM should revive 'Mini Parliament' so the 'old' Parliament members can learn a thing two about respecting each other no matter how different your views are.

But I guess we still are a par above those Japanese or Korean political figures who bashed each other with chair.....
